Where has time gone? Tripp is now two months old weighing in at approximately 15 LBS, he like's to smile, carry on conversations, tries to stand and squirms like a prairie dog, he's my sweet little BAMBINO! We went up this weekend for our Smith reunion where alot of loosing in red neck golf took place, a pretty sick break dancer with her sugar lips husband by her side tore up the talent show, alot of laughing, and a feeling of letting the good times roll run through the soul, oh yea, it was fun! It was a pretty rough night for Tripp hardly any sleep and alot of tears. I called the doctor to see what was going on and was scheduled to go in around 2 this afternoon. We see the doctor and come to find out he had an ear infection, they had to draw blood to make sure everything was alright. It was pretty intense, I held Tripp's hands as two assistants tried to get his blood from his arm. For some reason his blood wouldn't flow, so one of the assistant started squeezing his arm to see if the blood would squirt out into the tube. I don't even know, I was pretty sure Tripp's arm was going to fall off, the color of it was like no other a deep dark purple nothing I've never seen before. Needless to say squeezing of the arm did no good and no amputation was needed.:) After awhile of that, that same assistant looks to the other and was like well maybe we should have the doctor do this? I smiled and agreed but deep down i was trying so hard not to cry/ or play scenario's in my head where you do exactly what their doing but to them and then come back to reality.:) Some how it makes you feel really good... ha, Yikes.. But it was hard seeing Tripp so sad and his face bright, bright red and just looking at me helpless... I'm like do i get a sticker too? Make it your a winner please?!.. The doctor comes in and tries the other arm and it's a success after the blood they gave him a shot of penicillin which topped Tripp off, he was so livid..! But as sweet as he is, at the end of the day, looking like a wrapped mummy with the band aids all over his precious body, he still had his adorable smile on his face!
